1  Prepare and present various support budget proposals and research document

2  Preparing and approving the sector's long and medium term development plan document with the participation of stakeholders.

3  Prepare and approve the sector's annual physical plan, drawn from the ten-year master plan and the five-year strategic plan.

4  Coordinate the preparation of performance feedback for woredas in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Monitor, evaluate and evaluate the performance of non-governmental organizations.

5  Prepare and approve a financial plan that can be used as a starting point for the annual physical plan.
